Qiaomei FU, Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology, CAS, China

Professor Fu serves as the Deputy Director and senior researcher at the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She has long been dedicated to research in paleogenetics, focusing on exploring human origins and evolution through ancient DNA and ancient proteins. Due to the importance of her work, she was named one of "China's Top Ten Scientific Stars" by Nature. She has received numerous accolades, including the National Distinguished Youth Fund, the Special Award of the Chinese Youth Science and Technology Award, and the Chinese Young Female Scientist Award.
