Field Excursion Program
Day-one (Morning):
Assembling in Guiyang, and transporting to Guanling
Table lunch in Guiyang or Anshun.
Day-one (afternoon):
Visit to the Guanling fanua at the Guanling Fossil National Geopark.
Table dinner and overnight at 2-3 star hotel in Guanling
Day-two (Morning):
Bus from Guanling to Bianyang (3 to 3.5 hour).
Day-two (Afternoon):
Visit to the Lower-Middle Triassic succession at Bianyang, including lower and upper Guandao sections
Moving to Leye
Table dinner and overnight at 3 star hotel in Luodian (0.5 hour)
Day-three (Morning):
Bus from Luodian to Leye (1.5 -2 hour).
Visit to the outer-platform succession uppermost Permian to lowest Middle Triassic at Nanpanjiang Basin, including the Youping section
Day-three (Afternoon):
Bus from Leye to Baise (1.5 -2 hour).
Table dinner and overnight at 3-4 star hotel in Baise
Day-four:
Visit the outer-platform succession uppermost Permian to lowest Middle Triassic at Nanpanjiang Basin, including the Wantou, and adjacent sections
Table dinner and overnight at 3 star hotel in Fengshan
Day-five:
Observation of typical karst landscaping
Back to Nanning (4.5 – 5 hour bus)
