Haijun SONG, China University of Geosciences, China

Haijun Song is a professor at the School of Earth Sciences, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), and serves as Deputy Director of State Key Laboratory of Geomicrobiology and Environmental Changes. He also holds the position of Vice President of the Chinese Paleontological Society. Prof. Song and his team discovered the Guiyang Biota, the earliest Lagerstätten from the Mesozoic era, and constructed a specialized database in Earth biology. He has been honored with the Special Prize of the Chinese Youth Science and Technology Award for his outstanding contributions.
