Caroline PEACOCK, University of Leeds, UK
Caroline Peacock is a professor in the School of Earth and Environment at the University of Leeds, UK. Her research focuses on the reactivity and cycling of elements in both marine and terrestrial environments, and how element mobility and fate are controlled through interactions with sediment and soil minerals. Caroline uses a combination of laboratory experiments, advanced synchrotron-based spectroscopic techniques and geochemical modeling to achieve her research goals. She is currently serving as Vice President of the European Association of Geochemistry and is slated to become President from 2027.
